FAQ'S
Frequently Asked Questions
Will my real wreath look the same as the wreath in the images?
I try my best to make the wreath look as close to the picture as possible. There may however be slight difference between orders as each flower & foliage is unique, arriving in different shapes and sizes. But in general if there was a major change I would consult you before I do anything about it.
How long will my wreath last?
Although an artificial floral wreath will last much longer than a natural wreath, it is recommended to take note of its delicate nature. Of course, you may want to leave your wreath on your door at all times but please take note of the following so you may be able to enjoy your wreath for even longer.
- Wreaths' longevity will be affected by extreme weather. If your wreath is directly exposed to bad weather such as rain, its florals and/or ribbons may shift or loosen. Signs may also be affected.
- Direct sunlight will fade colours over time.
- Wreaths may collect dust. You can lightly dust off wreath as part of your regular cleaning routine.
- It is recommended to either hang your wreath up and cover it with a plastic bag or store it in a dark box when is not in use. If you decide to hang your wreath up for storage, a tip is to use a coat hanger, this will help it stay in shape at the top and it won’t allow the bag to damage the wreath.
How do I care for my wreath?
- Bring your wreath in if the weather is bad, or even to hot.
- Direct sunlight will fade colours over time, so try and keep your wreath shaded.
- Wreaths will collect dust and debris, so gently dust off wreath as part of your regular cleaning routine with a soft feather duster. This step effectively removes surface dust and debris that may accumulate over time, restoring the flowers' original lustre. Take care to be gentle, especially with delicate or intricate designs, to avoid damaging petals and stems.
- If you don’t want to use the duster another great method is to use a hair dryer on a cool setting to blow off any debris.
- If you are putting your wreath away for the season, give it a dry clean, and if you can pack it in a dark box, or in a large bag, and try not to squash it.
- Before you pack your wreath away check for any loose pieces, if there are some you can put a bit of florist wire around them to secure them.

Before you begin consider the following:
Before diving into the steps, first choose a wreath that complements your door and personal taste. Wreaths come in a variety of materials, such as fresh foliage, artificial greenery, fabric, or even metal. Consider the size of the wreath, ensuring it’s proportional to your door and won't cause any obstructions. - Using a wreath hanger
A popular and easy method to hang a wreath on your door is by using an over-the-door wreath hanger. These hangers are designed to fit snugly over most standard door sizes. To use one, simply slide it over the top of your door and hang the wreath on the hook at the other end. Wreath hangers are available in various materials and styles, so you’ll have no trouble finding one that matches your décor.
- Using adhesive hooks
One of the easiest ways to hang a wreath without causing damage is by using adhesive hooks. These hooks come with a strong adhesive backing that can stick to a variety of surfaces, including your door. Plus, they won’t leave a sticky residue or damage the surface of your door.
- Make sure to choose an adhesive hook that is designed to hold the weight of your wreath.
- Clean the door surface where the hook will be placed.
- Remove the backing from the command strip and press it onto the door.
- Attach the hook to the strip and wait for the recommended time (check the manufacturer’s instructions) before hanging the wreath.
- Using suction cups
For glass and smooth surfaces, suction cups can be an effective solution for hanging a wreath.
- Clean the surface where the suction cup will be placed.
- Wet the suction cup slightly and press it firmly onto the surface.
- Once secure, use a hook or loop attached to the suction cup to hang the wreath.
- Be mindful of the weight and size of your wreath when using suction cups, as larger or heavier wreaths may require multiple suction cups or alternative methods.
- Using ribbon or string
Another simple method of hanging a wreath is by using ribbon or string and a self-adhesive hook on the back of your door.
